share my experience~
Sri Maju is a choice for u if u plan to travel from penang/ butterworth to Ipoh,Perak.
RM17.60/trip if u travel from penang island.
duration is around 3 hours.
however, u can only buy one way trip , the other trip back u will have to buy the your departure area..
at penang island- u can take the bus at Sungai Nibong bus station
at Ipoh-medan"kit" (not sure how its spelled, then the bus will go to Sri Maju office , then lastly medan Gopeng (where all the long distanced buses will arrive).

the reason of choosing this company is
a) the time is more flexible
second choice is Transnational
this bus company only travel on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday
-930am( which is not so flexible >'<) thats all from me ^_^
